From pictures I've seen, the X20's palmrest seems to be painted with the black coating that was used on the 770 or the
early 600. Is that a fact ?
If it is, I really don't understand why IBM chose to do it. With the A20 I thought they had understood that the black coating is
fine (although superfluous, fragile and VERY prone to stains, IMO) on the cover, but certainly NOT on the palmrest, were it
will gather grease from hands and dust in no time (if it doesn't peel off like it did on so many 770s).
Can anyone confirm that the X20's palmrest is drenched in the infamous black coating ? How about the X21 ?
