HOW to upgrade the HDD in an "i" series depends upon which exact "i" series
machine that you have..
roughly, if you have the machine with the ears on each side of the display,
the HDD is buried under the keyboard..
if the newer version with the CD controls on the front, then there are
screws which you remove, then move the CD controls out of the way and pull
the HDD out of the machine..
in any event, the one year warranty is probably history for that machine, by
now, so there is little potential damage to be done there..
