Well, that was uneventful....
Got the TFT screen from UPS today, plugged it in, and it worked. No
hacking, no tweaking.
My only complaint is that the plastic LCD backshell was a little beat up
- the corners had been whacked a little. No big deal, I knew it was
used, but it wasn't in as good a condition as my original (used) one.
Maybe I can swap it out with the one from the original screen. The LCD
itself seems to be in very good shape.
Thanks to the guys at bluestarusa.com for putting up with all my
questions about this thing - and next time maybe they won't have to sell
this upgrade "AS IS - NO RETURNS" :-)
