All the satellite Internet service I've looked into still required a phone
line
for outbound traffic as the dish is recieve only. This made for a kludgy IP
senario but I don't remember exaclty why. Proxy?
Also there is the long latency issue with satellite/analog phone. This can
make 2.6Mbps seem much slower for web browsing and unusable for some
multiplayer games.
