My assumption is that IDT mode means internal display

Subject: New BIOS for TP570/E (what is IDT mode?)
Hi,
I just noticed there's a new BIOS for the 570/570E.
The feature introduced in this new BIOS version is as follows:
(Fix) In Windows 2000, LCD/CRT is switched with IDT mode by Fn and F7
keys.
Out of curiosity: what is IDT mode?
Thanks, Dominique
