I was struck by nostalgia yesterday when I found a box of floppies
labelled "ThinkPad 750 Demo." I tried to install the software (on
another computer), but my second floppy is damaged.
For those of you who go back to when this was the ThinkPad 750
mailing list, could one of you kind souls please e-mail me the
contents of that second disk? I would be most grateful.
If you don't remember, the 750 Demo was a program that showed off
the then-stunning applications of a tiny window of moving video
and stereo sound. Especially impressive from a laptop made in 1992.
If others are looking for this software, feel free to contact me
once I get that second disk image... or actually, just the one file
on it: DISK2.EXE.
