i don't know if anyone (yet) makes what you want..
IBM does not make the combo card..
xircom and 3-com do..
for me, i use wireless and no modem at all so this is not the highest
priority item for me.. especially on aprit 7 or 8th..
sounds like you got a particularly bad connection..
