Just peel them off. They will come off cleanly, with no damage to the
palmrest. If there is any adhesive residue left, you can remove it with a
"rubber cement pickup", available at any art supply or office supply store.
On older ThinkPads with painted palmrests, you would often end up with a bit
of a ghost image of the stickers after peeling them off, even after cleaning
off the adhesive with the rubber cement pickup. With the bare plastic
palmrest on the A and T series, the stickers come off without a trace.
