IMO the IBM web site can be confusing, but it is improving daily.
come on guys, there is SO MUCH info there, on IBM.com as to boggle the
mind..
and they must change it daily to keep up with the changing stock, models,
configuerations et al., ad inf, ad naus..
just trying to stay only a week behind on my web site is a nightmare when
coupled with buying, selling supporting and all the other stuff that goes
along with even MY tiny bit of the WWW..
then add in doing the banking, accounting (HAH, WHAT accounting?!) and the
daily living needs..
SO, i applaud any one like ibm for putting up and maintaining such a complex
site..
i have even had volunteers wanting to help bring thinkpads.com into the 21st
century and i have no time to collect the files and e-mail them out..
the only open place IBM could fill is for a minute list of the smallest
detail of all the parts of each thinkpad offered..
:-)
Cordially, :-)
Bill Morrow
