Hi,
I've got an A21p with current BIOS, latest video and trackpoint
drivers, etc. Running Win2000 (from IBM) with SP1 added and
all the critical/recommended updates from MS.
I've got an old DOS app that I still find very useful. It
runs under DOS (PC-DOS 7 or older versions), OS/2 (warp on
older TPs like a 755CX), and NT4 (SP-6a) on a 770E, without
problems. On my fairly new A21p, the app runs but when I
exit, it usually crashes (no prompt in the DOS window which
is full screen - Alt-Enter has no effect, Ctrl-Alt-Del has
no effect, the power switch has no effect unless you hold
it down for a LONG time).
Any suggestions? Does IBM listen to problems like this or
I suppose it doesn't matter as it is an old DOS application
(it was expensive and until I got the A21p it did what I
need)?
Stuart
