No, it's the same thing! There's only one warranty,
or maybe none at all. If you buy from a private seller
on ebay there is none. From the store, it is what the
store provides.
IBM does not provide a warranty on laptop drives
unless you buy them from IBM.
Therefore, the only warranty you get is from the
seller.
