I, and some others, have had issues with the floppy/parallel cable for the T
series. I went through various replacement parts (cable, connector, floppy
drive itself) before an IBM tech diagnosed a flaky system board. It was
replaced under warranty. Just FYI - it is great when it works though, it
made it possible for me to boot from A: and run Ghost with two simultaneous
HDs installed. Recommended.
