Hi all,
Does anyone know what the model of the thermal sensor is in the A21 or A22
series? this topic just came up on the Delltalk forums, and I figure I'd ask
around here to see if anyone knew. Since there must be a thermistor inside
the laptop to activate the cooling fan, there must be a sensor somewhere. It
would be nice if a program like Motherboard Monitor could show vital stats
on the thermal situation going on inside the laptop.
I believe the fan has a 3rd wire to control the speed of the fan, and also
provides feedback on the RPM's which could potentially be picked up by the
monitoring application.
Any Ideas? I might email the author of the program to see if there are any
scanning tools he can send along to figure out how to accomplish this.
