After MANY hours of trying, I had to give up on the RBE-100 for my 600Es -
I have 5. The RE-100s work great but after many, many hours of trying and
downloading ever known drive (including a full instll CD), I quit and sent
the 2 RBE-100s back for a refund. Life is too short.

Hi everyone.
I have two Xircom cards. The first, a RE-100, works great on my LAN and the
web. The RBE-100 however is troublesome. I can see my LAN but cannot get out
onto the web. I have checked and rechecked the protocols, properties, etc.
and everything looks good.
I am using the latest drivers and Win98SE.
If I insert the RE-100 card it is detected and works fine, LAN and web.
If I insert the RBE-100 card it is detected and works on the LAN but I
cannot get out onto the web.
All proper protocols are installed.
Is there some known issue with RBE-100 cards on Thinkpads?
