personalisation editor

another question re: setting up a new thinkpad...

i downloaded both parts of the personalisation editor
from IBM. created my image, saved it to the diskette i
created with their program. when i reboot with the
floppy in the drive, i get two os/2 errors that seem
to relate to non-system disks. the computer then seems
to freeze and i have to reboot without the disk. i am
running win98 on my machine. has anyone been able to
successfully bypass this error?
