Well, we've all had the "it's not covered" problem with electronics, though
your Palm problem seems especially
egregious. What's different here is not that I need to pursue IBM, but
rather that IBM is pursuing *me*,
for not paying for something I didn't order. My warning is that buying an
extended warrantee (at least in
my case) seems to kick you into some kind of "warrantee of the month club",
where if you don't explicitly and
forcefully resign at the end of the period you get harrassed.
