Yep. IBM is very good about the warranty, unlike MANY other manufacturers
(Sony comes to mind) that make you attemot to clear all sorts of hurdles
before they'll even ACCEPT a unit for "possible" warranty repairs.

Something else to bear in mind is that if you purchase a unit overseas and
then relocate to the US, the warranty is automatically upgraded to EZServe
coverage from depot level. E.g., I've got a Greenock, UK manufactured 600
that was purchased in the UK, but it's already been to EZServe US for a
checkup with no problem.
