Hi Chris,
Excuse the vagueness of this reply, but from memory, doesn't the
printer port require some sort of "initialisation"? If your bios
has "lost power", then perhaps this setting has been lost. I believe
there is a dos utility... some rumaging around in the manual or on the
ibm website should confirm or refute this...
If I am way off track... my apologies :)
