Howdy. New member Andrew G. here in Michigan.
I have a TP600 model 2645-31U
I've always had problems with trackpoint creep, but
the other day my trackpoint started acting very strange,
jumping all over the screen vertically, so I plugged in
a mouse and the computer worked normally.
Well, next time I went to power it on, I was greeted
by an ugly error 08611
The built-in tests tell me there's a problem with the
systemboard. It says
DEV 086
ERR 22
FRU 0010
Any suggestions on what this means? Just that my
trackpoint is bad? If I hit escape a few times the
laptop will boot, and I still have the same trackpoint
problems, but it appears to be OK otherwise.
