Sorry bout the html - hotmail :-(
If you go to the Nero downloads page you can get Nero 5.5.5.1 - This is
optimized for Win2k (and "unofficially" for XP).
http://www.nero.com/en/download.htm
You can also download the Win2k (& XP) optimized wnaspi32.dll which is most
likely the cause of the problems mentioned. XP does not have its own aspi
layer and the videologic/adaptec aspi does _not_ work correctly with XP. I
have used this dll on 8 systems that had problems - all now ok.
ftp://ftp.ahead.de/wnaspi32.dll
To convert & burn super-vcd's with Nero 5551 you'll need this :-
ftp://ftp5.nero.com/NeroVCD.zip
And to burn WMA files you'll need this :-
ftp://ftp.nero.com/WMAPlugin.exe
If you use CDRWIN with XP, you need to copy wnaspi32.dll from /system32 into
the app root folder (CDRWIN cant address the dll in system32).
IMHO you're better off using EZCDCREATOR 5 Platinum with XP.

Hey I've read literally hundreds of posts about Nero with no complaints
whatsoever. I've used Nero 5.003 up to and including Nero 5.5.23 on Win 98
Win 2k and now on Win XP Final with no problems at all. You might want to
look somewhere else if you are having problems with Nero.
