Subject: 755C A: Drive doesn't work
A friend of mine recently purchased a 755C and she found that the A:
drive doesn't work. I was able to stop by her office briefly and what I
saw was that the A: drive was not able to be tested in the BIOS, it was
grayed out, it was visible under My Computer, but when clicked, the A:
drive dialog box would begin to open and then it errored out with
"device not available". Being pressed for time, I didn't take it any
further. I suggested that she make sure that the contacts on the drive
were not corroded. I there anything else to suggest as a remedy?
