I've got a Thinkpad 560 2640 with a blown Trackpoint (the cable was ripped
off the trackpoint assembly). Does anyone else have an idea on how to a:
boot the machine with a faulty trackpoint (there is *no* OS on there, and
the HDD's password locked, so i have to get a new drive and put 98 on it by
putting the drive in my home machine via adapter) or b: find *just* the
trackpoint assembly and replace it?
Or, does anyone else have a 560 keyboard with functioning trackpoint that
they'd be willing to get rid of? Thanks.
