I had 72Mb of memory, 4.8Gb hard drive, 24X CDRom
drive with an external floppy drive in my TP760 and
everything worked fine.
I added another 32Mb Sodimm for a total of 104Mb and
now it won't boot from the hard drive if the 24X CDRom
drive is installed!
It boots from the floppy only.
It will work properly if I remove the 24X CDRom.
It also works OK with a second floppy plugged in
internally or if I put back the old 4X CDRom.
Can anyone explain this or know how to get the 24X
CDRom working again? Thanks.
BTW, the 24X CDRom drive is a SD/CD24, IBM FRU
#05L6027 and it says right on it that it is for the TP
755 and TP760.
