The CDR died on the 600E I just got.
Called IBM, they're sending out a replacement. Gotta love that customer
service.
Since I was desperate to install some apps, I plopped the CDR from my 600 in
there.
At bootup, it did a "new hardware found" thing, which suprised me, but the
system works great.
This PC is for my sister in FL. I am going to leave the 600's CDR in there
for the forseeable future. Will the CDR I get from IBM work in my 600? Are
they interchangeable? I see they are different FRU's.
