No DiskMangler!
The Bios does not recognize all 12G (only 8.2) but W2k, W98SE, and Linux (at
least with recent versions)
all seem to be capable of bypassing the bios and handling the full file space.
I've tested this by copying files back and forth between all three with no
problems.
There is a good chance that other programs like disk utilities or even virus
checkers
could raise cain big time with this, I don't know about this yet.
I generally don't use those programs so I'm not concerned abut this but others
may be..

One strange thing, the very last partition must be a fat16 or fat32 partition or
things get weird.
Can't take any credit for this one, I found out about this by reading part man
and iosl faqs.
