I don't think it is ridicule, it is just hard to understand why anyone would
invest any money in that machine. If he has that much to spend, he could
just buy a nice used Thinkpad with all the features he wants.
I mean, why pay maybe $200 or more for a 30 gig hard drive, when $200 will
get you at least a 760XL on Ebay, which is a hell of a lot more useful than
a 701C (486!)
