I use a CDROM from EXP with PC card. My floppy disk contains the following
folders with the following files

A:\ drivespace.bin
     command.com
     autoexec.bat
     config.sys
     io.sys
     msdos.sys:
FOLDER-CDBIN : mscdex.exe
FOLDER -CDROM : expcd.exe
                              install.exe

[The above because it is EXP drive]

The AUTOEXEC.BAT IS AS FOLLOW:(NB Of course you can ignore all the REM- I
just keep it for personal reasons)

A:\cdbin\MSCDEX.EXE /D:MSCD001 /M:4
REM @C:\PROGRA~1\NORTON~1\NAVDX.EXE /Startup
@ECHO OFF
REM SET PATH=C:\ThinkPad;C:\IBMtools;
REM C:\windows\command\doskey.com
REM The following line creates the hibernation file.
REM if not exist c:\save2dsk.bin C:\ThinkPad\phdisk /c /f <c:\ThinkPad\yes
REM This is no longer required and may be deleted.
If exist C:\MFGBOOTI.REG C:\ windows\regedit C:\MFGBOOTI.REG
REM C:\essolo.com

The CONFIG>SYS is as follows:

DEVICE=C:\essolo.sys
LASTDRIVE=Z
DEVICE=A:\CDROM\EXPCDI.EXE /P:3 /I:10 /D:MSCD001

Itr works for me . Good luck.

Simon
