I'm fairly certain that you can put a 30 or 32G disk in there.
Check to see what the latest bios update is for the machine on
the ibm web site; thats very useful to do. My only question
would be if the 48G disk fits in there--I'll bet it would but
I've yet to hear of an i Series units with one. My 1451i and
1480i have used 20G disks, and I'm about to get a 30G unit for
the 1480i.
As for model numbers, IBM 20 and 30G disks are model djsa-220
and dsja-230. These have other part numbers too starting with
07n, but the djsa numbers should let you find them.
