[600E] Bare-Installing a WinME upgrade

Hi all,

My dad's 600E may need to be redone. He's got WinME on it. He had upgraded
from Win98.

If I wanted to do a bare drive install of WinME, do I have to install Win98
and then upgrade, or, does the upgrade work like it used to in that you just
insert the disk/cd etc. from the prior version to validate you own it, and
then it lets you proceed?
