Any cleaner with ammonia will cause most plastics to become brittle
overtime. Fantastic will remove paints and will cause them to change
color and flake or powder off over time. I haven't seen any
documentation on whether the rubberized IBM "paint" is safe from the
strong caustic effects of Fantastic, but it does fade similar
materials on broadcast equipment.
