In installing RASPPPoE I was instructed to use patch available from
<http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q243/1/99.ASP> to
solve "Windows 98 Second Edition Problems with NDIS Intermediate Drivers";
however the patch fails with error message that it is not for the
installed version of Windows.
So the question: what version of Windows comes with the 600E, where
does one verify it, and what are the differences among the various
versions of Windows 98? Am I missing something running whatever
I am running?
(Sorry for the silly questions, but this is my 9-year old daughter's
machine which I am trying to set up for DSL; I am familiar only with
OS/2.)
Thanks for all help.
