TP 600 display problem

I have another display problem, this time on a model
600. It has a picture on the upper half of the display
buy the lower half is just white. It doesn't have the
same type of display as the 600E and reseating the
loose ribbon cable on the back didn't work for this
one like it did on the 600E. Any ideas?
