Hi,

I currently have a 2645-41U 600 series thinkpad with a 2x DVD drive.
I was wondering if the DVD drive would work in non-600 models?

Also, where might I go to get a list of laptops that have 3D accelerator
chips built in?

My plan is to buy a newer laptop (PIII 500+, w/3D)... swap the HD's
(currently have a 12GB in there), put in the DVD drive if it fits into the
newer one and then sell off the 600..

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
