I've been using an A21p [2629HSU] since last March. Love it. But, it
remains in the office.
I'd like a similar [identical?] machine for my home. The eBay IBM store has
some 2629H1U machines that seem to lack the built-in Ethernet card. This
strikes me as a disadvantage but I may be missing something. I plan to
install StarBand at the house.
If anyone has had a similar experience, can you offer some guidance re:
buying a ThinkPad with the Ethernet built in v. one that doesn't have the
card [and, thus, requires an add-on].
