I had a similar problem about a year ago with a 770.
If I applied any pressure to a specific spot on the
bottom, the machine would turn off. At first, it
was only intermittent, and when I sent it in to
EasyServe, they couldn't find the problem. Eventually,
got really bad, and then they fixed it. Unfortunately,
I don't remember what the exact problem was. I think
they replaced the CPU or maybe it was the power supply.
