There are adapters that allow a 2.5" disk to be used in a 3.5" drive bay,
mechanically and electrically. They are simple and work fine.
There are also PCMCIA desktop adapters. I don't have direct experience
with them, but I have read of some people having trouble with some of
them with some cards.
