Thanks to all who commented publicly and privately. Blue and purple
are the defined colors for links. The black background came from the
trade dress of the product promoted on the website (the Black Magic
telephone ringing generator) which pays the bills. I am not a
graphic designer so wasn't aware at the beginning of the difficulties
some people have with this combination. In fact the colors look
fine to me on my Thinkpad 600E screen, and I'm aging fast.
At some point I will revisit the color scheme. Need more complaints
first . . . .
