Thanks to everyone who helped with my atp.exe question. The "Thinkpad"
button now works as it should.
Another question which I'm sure some good soul can help out on. I want
to network my Thinkpad with my desktop. The Thinkpad contains a 3 com
10/100 mini PCI ethernet adapter ! What do I need to obtain to network
this with the desk top which runs W2000 (the Thinkpad is running W98) ?
I have no experience whatsoever with networking two computers together
and would appreciate being talked through this in laymans terms if
possible. ie, what hardware and cables do I need to purchase for the
job. Do I need additional software, and how does one implement the thing
having obtained whatever is required.
The primary purpose of wanting to do this is to synchronise files
between the two computers on a daily basis.
