thinkpad list is hosted by utk.edu which is in the EST timezone, which is
one hour ahead of CST timezone.
I'm *assuming* that the listserv timestamps the message according to the
time it receives/sends out the message. I don't see how it would be possible
for the listserv to determine the timezone of the actual sender and
timestamp the messages with the senders time.
but we all know about assumptions :-)
