Because of having to communicate with many customers or work partners that
use Outlook, I must also. To avoid some of the issues with viruses I use a
different viewer in Outlook. I use Chilton Preview. It only gets the text
out of the message and doesn't execute all the other stuff. If you really
want to completely view the message you can then open it in its own window
and let Outlook work its magic (white or black, your point of view).
Of course I am not arguing against use of good virus protection, but this is
helpful.
