I do not and have never used OE. I cut my teeth on Unix and DOS and checked
my email for
years via a shell account before switching to Eudora mainly because of
security concerns.
I am not a fan of HTML in email messages, and I still use Eudora Pro 4.2
(which does support
HTML to some degree) In addition, when I can, I get people to switch from
OE or never contemplate
it in the first place. It really is a piece of junk.
In M$ defense, though, XP is pretty stable compared to 98SE/ME. The only
time XP crashes is
on certain games, but besides that, the stability is so far on par with W2k.
