Well, I approach email from the basis that all I want is plain text and the
occasional link
from a friend. Besides that, everything else is wasted time and effort.
Eudora 4.2 Pro
has been my stable for over a year, and before that, I used Eudora 3.1.6
for years.

As for corporate standards, I haven't met a system I haven't been able to
work around
with Eudora. I simply refuse to use OE. It is nasty, and has caused me more
support
headaches than I can explain. Besides being a security black hole, OE can
bog down
some systems and runs a little chunky. Now, if you got a Tower 'O Power,
it's ok, but
on systems under 300mhz running 98+, it is really slow. Eudora is speedy.

Of course I can't speak for Eudora v5, since I haven't had a compelling
reason to
switch.
