I didn't know about the 'spyware' aspect. The ads can be annoying, but as
for taking up hard drive space (as someone else posted) it should be
possible to delete the ads from time to time.
there are actually *three* version of Eudora, and if you download it you
can choose which to use. They are:
Lite, which is free and doesn't have ads, but misses some of the functions
of the other versions. I've never needed those functions (in fact I'm still
using version 3).
Sponsored, free with ads, and all the functions of the full version.
Registered, which has to be paid for, and gets rid of the ads.
