Hi Ron,
You beat me (barely). I started with a PDP-8I. The I meant it had
"Integrated Circuits". oooooooh.
It was only 3'X2'X2' and had lots of lights and switches on the front.
You had to enter the bootstrap loader using the switches on the front
after it had been powered off. And the lights were for singlestepping
through your program. This was called 'debugging'.
Sorry, I don't miss those days one little bit.
