Actually, I was referring to the point where the DC wire enters the brick,
i.e. at the strain relief.
For some reason IBM uses L-shaped strain reliefs on most of their bricks,
the wire overflexes
at the corner of the L and breaks internally.
Fixing a burnout close to the winding would be a much more difficult job, I
think (I've never done this).
