I'm sure this has been debated before but I haven't seen any discussion
recently (was I sleeping?) about generic/partially generic (name
chips/board made on the kitchen counter) memory vs. name brand memory. I
want to increase the memory on a 600x and 770. What do people think? To
avoid corrupted data and other excitements, is it necessary to buy 1st
quality or is off-brand safe?
