And look in batteries. If they don't already know how to do it
themselves, many people will say you're lying when you say you made
connections like these in only a few seconds, without the liquid acid
flux it takes 20 or 30 seconds to do this. Note how the solder stays
stuck to the battery when the wire is pulled on, probably took 30 pounds
of force to rip the wire off the D cell, the wire rips out of the
solder, the solder itself is weaker than the bond.
And for both of these I touched the joint right after soldering. It's
always warm but never burning, it's only hot right at where the iron
touches for a very short time, the total heat transferred to the
terminal surface is very low.
Maybe back up and look in lights, it's cool too..
