This is strictly FYI but here is how I do this.
I have a laptop hard drive adapter on one of my desktop pcs.
I put the "from" HD in this and use "Ghost" to create an image
of this on a disk file in the desktop system.
I then put the "to" hard drive in the adapter and put the disk
file from the desktop hard drive onto it.
Ghost allows you to adjust the partition size on the "to" drive.
This is not even firecracker science, its very safe and very easy to do and
you should not have any trouble finding a shop that can do it.
Cheers, Bert
