It's nothing special nowadays. Personally I'd prefer the TravelStar 30GN;
newegg.com offers the 30GB model for under $150, less than $10 more than
the drive linked above, and it's a more current drive, 9.5mm height, and
has FDB (fluid-dynamic bearings) for quieter operation and longer life.

My experience has been that laptop drives get really whiny and annoying
within a year, even if they didn't start that way, so better bearings seem
like a really good idea. I recently swapped out my ThinkPad's TravelStar
30GT (non-FDB) for a 30GN (FDB), and while the drive operation (especially
seek noise) is still noticable, the idle whine is much reduced. I'm hoping
it stays that way.
