Thanks to recommendations from people here, I've been using compact flash memory for keeping my Thinkpads at home
and my Desktop & laptop in my office in sync - nice to be carrying around only 2 ounces instead of that hefty
4 pound ThinkPad:-)
The recent questions about booting from pcmcia CDs inspires me to ask about booting from flash
memory in a PC card adapter - I know this is possible in some powerbooks, wonder if it is possible in
my TP560X? If so, how does one get "boot track" -style system data onto the CF card? Can it be
done non-destructively?
Thanks,
David R.
